Special needs children and adults got a day-long look at the experiences of law enforcement and other first responders at the first Sunny Day Camp in Greene County Thursday. About 30 people attended the day-long camp, put on by the Pennsylvania State Police. The program is celebrating its 10th anniversary statewide. One person was killed in a motorcycle accident Friday morning in Fayette County. Pennsylvania State Police troopers were called out at 6:14 a.m. to the site of a crash in Franklin Township at the intersection of Cooper Road and Bolden Road. George Wyland, Jr., 45, of New Salem, was pronounced dead at the scene, the Fayette County Coroner鈥檚 Office said Friday. The crash remains under investigation.
