State and local officials joined in the ribbon-cutting for a new food and live entertainment venue in Fayette County that owners see becoming the “ultimate destination spot.”

Founded by local business owner Charlotte “Char” Molek and her husband, Ron Molek, Rustic Ridge was designed as a gathering place for locals, tourists, families, bikers, music lovers, car enthusiasts, and visitors looking for a unique experience in the Laurel Highlands region.

“Rustic Ridge was built with heart,” said Charlotte Molek. “We wanted to create a place where people could relax, laugh, enjoy good food and drinks, listen to live music, and feel genuinely welcome the moment they walk in.”

The May 21 ribbon-cutting was followed by a grand opening the next day capped by live entertainment from area favorites Fret Buzz.

The property features multiple entertainment spaces including the outdoor atmosphere of The Pike Pavilion, live music at The Pike Stage, outdoor seating and gathering areas, and Whiskey 17, Rustic Ridge’s bourbon-focused bar experience. Future plans include classic car shows, bike events, acoustic performances, community events, cornhole tournaments, line dancing, and seasonal outdoor entertainment.

Rustic Ridge also serves Pinardi Family Pizza, bringing a family recipe and local tradition back to the community through its signature red-top pizza.

“We are incredibly grateful for everyone who believed in us and helped bring Rustic Ridge to life,” Molek added. “This place truly was built by a village.”
