Fort Necessity Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) members presented United Veterans Billeting of Fayette County with donations for their women veterans’ transitional home, Rendu House.

The state regent of the Pennsylvania State Society Daughters of the American Revolution (PSSDAR), Marguerite Fritsch, held a fundraiser for the State Regent’s Project, and in return, a veterans organization in each of the six state districts received socks for veterans. Rendu House was chosen to receive the donation in the local district. In addition, Fort Necessity Chapter members donated children’s socks, as children of the female veterans will also be accepted into Rendu House. A variety of kitchen goods were also donated.
