Fayette County judges recognize adult probation office staff

Over 30 members of the Fayette County Adult Probation Office were recognized for their years of service on Monday.

On Monday, Fayette County judges recognized over 30 staff members of the county’s adult probation office, in advance of National Pretrial, Probation and Parole Supervision Week, which starts July 21. President Judge Steve P. Leskinen along with Judges Linda Cordaro and Nancy D. Vernon distributed years-of-service certificates along with providing a lunch for the staff members.

James Kovacs, one of the most tenured members of the Fayette County Adult Probation Office, shares a laugh as he receives his year-of-service certificate. Kovacs was hired on April 4, 1994 and since 2005 has served as the assistant chief probation officer.
