Early returns show Matthews leads in Connellsville mayoral race
With 17 percent of precincts reporting, incumbent Mayor Charles Matthews is so far the highest vote-getter in the race for Connellsville mayor. Matthews has garnered 41 Democratic votes, while his Democratic challengers Greg Lincoln and Joshua DeWitt have received 29 and 9 votes, respectively.
