Fayette, Greene counties go with Wolf

1 min read

With 78 of Fayette County’s 81 precincts reporting, county voters seemed to go with the state sentiment: casting a ballot for Tom Wolf to lead Pennsylvania.

Unofficial results show Wolf, a Democrat, with 16,635 votes in the county to Republican Gov. Tom Corbett’s 11,890 votes.

Greene County voters also followed suit — offering Wolf 5,055 votes to Corbett’s 3,985 votes. Those results are with all of the county’s 44 voting precincts reporting.

Currently, Wolf has 56 percent of the statewide vote, according to the Department of State website. Those results are with nearly 69 percent of the state’s voting districts reporting.
