Update: Abraham elected to Fayette County controller office

Democrat Scott Abraham secured the Fayette County controller seat by defeating Republican John Lavery in Tuesday’s general election, according to unofficial results.

With all 80 precincts in the county reporting, Abraham received 15,094 votes to Lavery’s 8,692 votes. Abraham received 63 percent of the total vote.
