‘Hamilton’ star to perform with Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra

Ren茅e Elise Goldsberry, who originated the role of Angelica Schuyler in the musical 鈥淗amilton,鈥 will perform in concert with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra this month at Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh.

Goldsberry, a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, has been honored with several awards, including a Tony, Grammy, Drama Desk and Lucille Lortel. She鈥檚 also appeared in several television shows and films, including 鈥淲aves,鈥 鈥淎ltered Carbon,鈥 and 鈥淶oey鈥檚 Extraordinary Playlist.鈥 Upcoming, she will star in the Tina Fey series 鈥淕irls5eva鈥 on Peacock.

During the Heinz Hall show, Goldsberry will sing favorites from 鈥淗amilton,鈥 alongside selections from 鈥淭he Lion King,鈥 鈥淩ent鈥 and other shows.

Performances will be held at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Fri, May 12 and 13, and at 2:30 p.m. on Sun, May 14. For tickets, visit pittsburghsymphony.org.
