West Virginia University announces 2026-27 arts season
West Virginia University has announced its 2026-27 arts season, with more than 15 events coming to the Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre at the WVU Canady Creative Arts Center.

This season at the University Arts Series is as follows:
-“Hubbard Street Dance Chicago” — Sept. 4 at 7:30 p.m.
-The Filharmonic — Oct. 3 at 7:30 p.m.
-“The Great Gatsby” — Oct. 8 at 6 p.m.
-“Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock LIVE” — Oct. 16 at 6 p.m.
-“The Wiz” — Oct. 20 at 7:30 p.m.
-“Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Christmas Carol” — Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m.
-“Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet” — Nov. 30 at 7:30 p.m.
-Mountain Stage — Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. and May 23 at 7 p.m.
-“The Who’s Tommy” — Jan. 19 at 7:30 p.m.
-“Bluey’s Big Play” — Feb. 9 and Feb. 10 at 6 p.m.
-Canadian Brass — Feb. 16 at 7:30 p.m.
-“Hadestown” — Feb. 23 and Feb. 24 at 7:30 p.m.
-West Virginia Symphony — Feb. 28 at 2 p.m.
-I’m With Her — March 8 at 7:30 p.m.
-“Mystic Pizza” — March 29 at 7:30 p.m.
-“Divi Roxx Kids” — April 3 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
