Dave Matthews Band to play at Star Lake Friday

For a lot of people, summertime wouldn’t be summertime without checking out a show by the Dave Matthews Band, and they’ll be able to check that tradition off their list Friday when the group comes to the Pavilion at Star Lake outside Burgettstown.
Dedicated road warriors for more than 30 years, Matthews and his band have toured relentlessly while releasing several live and studio albums. Their most recent set of new material, “Walk Around the Moon,” peaked at No. 5 in 2023, making it their fifth album to place in the Top 10, along with seven albums that reached No. 1.
