Pittsburgh Symphony presents ‘All Rise’

The stage at Heinz Hall will be filled with musicians Saturday for a presentation of “All Rise,” a symphonic work by trumpeter Wynton Marsalis.

“All Rise” sweeps through the history of Black music in America, including blues. Swing, spirituals and more. Marsalis will be there, along with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh and the Lift Every Voice Unity Choir.
