Rockets cruise to 71-34 win over Mapletown
Jefferson-Morgan led 10-0 after the first quarter Friday night and didn’t look back for a 71-34 Section 2-A victory over visiting Mapletown.
The Rockets (1-0, 1-4) led 27-5 at halftime and then pulled away to a 52-18 advantage after three quarters.
Tahj Jacobs scored a game-high 18 points for Jefferson-Morgan. Elijah Saeson added 12.
Landan Stevenson led the Maples (0-1, 0-4) with 13 points.
