Martha Sweeney
Martha Sweeney, 57, of Carmichaels, died Saturday, May 20, 2023, in her home.
Martha was born February 28, 1966, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Herbert and Melba Patricia Housel Kerley.
Her husband, Jim Sweeney; a son, Jordon Sweeney; and nephew, Joey Kerley, are also deceased.
Martha is survived by two sons, Patrick Swartz (Sandy) and Christopher Swartz (fiancee Megan), both of Carmichaels; a brother, Herbert Kerley (Tammy) of Marisa, Ill.; a sister, Treasa Wright (Jamie) of Carmichaels; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed shopping, poker playing, walking, and spending time with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends were welcomed from 6 to 8 p.m., with a service beginning at 7:30, Wednesday, May 24, in the Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home, 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, PA 15320 (724-966-5100), Paul M. Lesako, owner/supervisor.
