Linda Carol Lewis McClaskey
Linda Carol Lewis McClaskey, 77, of Waynesburg, passed away at 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at home.
She was born April 23, 1946 in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Raymond Lewis and Mildred Ward Lewis.
Linda was a supervisor for the State Assistance office in Waynesburg for many years. Later, she owned and operated the Iron Skillet, which became The Tailgaters and then Scotty’s Pizza.
Surviving is her husband, Douglas McClaskey, whom she married in 2004. Also surviving is her son, James (Toby) Whipkey of Graysville, two granddaughters, London and Pieper Whipkey of Graysville; one sister, Cinda Miller of Ariz.; one brother, David (Karen) Lewis of Washington; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is one son, John Scott Whipkey.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. Entombment will be Private and held at the convenience of the family at Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Twp., PA 15370 Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. Shane M. Ayers, Director have been entrusted with her arrangements.
