Critz receives ‘Social Security & Medicare Hero Award’
WASHINGTON, D.C. 鈥� The Pennsylvania Alliance for Retired Americans (PARA) presented Congressman Mark S. Critz, D-Johnstown, with its Social Security and Medicare Hero Award for his advocacy on behalf of Pennsylvania鈥檚 seniors, the group said. Critz, a member of the Congressional Seniors Task Force, received the award from PARA President Jean Friday.
鈥淪ocial Security and Medicare are the bedrock of retirement security for millions of our nation鈥檚 seniors, many of whom are facing increased financial hardships,鈥� Critz said.

Critz and Congressman Mike Doyle were the only members of the Pennsylvania Congressional delegation to be presented with the Hero Award.
