State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred at the intersection of Route 857 and Big Six Road in Georges Township on Thursday.

Emergency personnel work to extricate an adult trapped in a vehicle involved in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Route 857 and Big Sixx Road in Georges Township on Thursday.

Two adults involved in a two-vehicle collision were extricated and flown to a nearby hospital Thursday morning in George’s Township.

Emergency personnel responded to the two-vehicle crash with injuries and entrapment at the intersection between Georges Fairchance Road and Big Six Road at 10:17 a.m., according to Fayette 911.

One adult and three children were in the second vehicle according to Southwest EMS, all refusing hospital treatment.

The couple in the first vehicle were taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital for treatment. Their condition is unknown. 

State Police are investigating the cause of the accident.

Southwest EMS, State Police and Fairchance Fire Department responded to the accident.
