19-year-old man injured in Connellsville bar shooting

A Uniontown teen was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital after he was shot at Mile Marker bar in Connellsville early Friday.

William Greenawalt Jr., 19, suffered injuries which did not appear to be life threatening. He was shot once and taken to Highlands Hospital by a private vehicle, before police arrived. He was then taken by ambulance to UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. His condition is not known.

No arrests had been made as of about 11:15 a.m. The suspect fled before police arrived.

Connellsville Police were called to the 502 West Crawford Avenue bar at about 1:30 a.m. for a report of a disturbance with shots fired.

Police are continuing their investigation. More information will be released as it becomes available.
