Wigle Whiskey introduces ready-to-drink craft cocktails
Pittsburgh-based Wigle Whiskey has announced the launch of Wigle Craft Cocktails, a new collection of ready-to-drink canned cocktails.
The collection consists of five varieties of vodka- and bourbon-based cocktails, each with a different flavor. In a news release, Wigle Whiskey said the canned cocktails will offer 鈥渁 balanced, bar-quality experience.鈥�
Alex Moser, the chief operating officer of Wigle Whiskey, said that every can 鈥渋s a passport to a moment worth remembering. From quiet nights on the porch to late-night campfires, weddings to tailgates, we have carefully crafted these cocktails for sharing, celebrating, and savoring life with good friends.鈥�
The new canned cocktails are:
鈥� Back Nine, a sweet-tart blend of whiskey, lemonade and iced tea inspired by the legendary golf pro Arnold Palmer. Wigle Whiskey described it as 鈥渁pproachable yet premium鈥� and 鈥渂uilt around ritual, relaxation and shared experiences.鈥�
鈥� Surely Shirley is a 鈥渃herry-forward take鈥� on the old-time Dirty Shirley cocktail. It is characterized as 鈥渁n easy entry point for new drinkers and a standout for sampling and celebrations.鈥�
鈥� Ginger Up is 鈥渁 crisp, bourbon-forward highball lifted with effervescent ginger.鈥�
鈥� Cranberry Crush is bourbon-based with cranberry and a hint of orange. It is said to be 鈥渂right and refreshing in summer, cozy in fall (and) festive in winter.鈥�
鈥� Front Porch Lemonade is a 鈥渃itrus-forward vodka lemonade that鈥檚 bright, smooth and endlessly drinkable.鈥�
The craft cocktails are available at Wigle Distillery locations, beer distributors in Pennsylvania, and at select Giant Eagle stores in the Pittsburgh region. They also will be available at bars, restaurants and at wiglewhiskey.com.
