1 min read

A lucky Powerball player in Fayette County is a million dollars richer.

The $1 million ticket from Saturday’s drawing was sold at the Walmart at 355 Walmart Dr., South Union Township, the Pennsylvania Lottery said in a statement. It matched all five white numbers, but not the red Powerball.

The Walmart will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. Representatives could not be reached for comment Monday afternoon.

In Ross Township in Allegheny County, a $200,000 ticket was sold at Thompson Run Market.

Winners have a year from the drawing date to claim their prize.

Monday night’s jackpot stands at $633 million, with a $277.3 million cash value.
