More than 300 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students crossed the stage during Waynesburg University’s commencement ceremony Sunday.

Emily Barker of Mount Sterling, Ohio, was co-valedictorian for the class along with Abigail Speer of Bridgeville. She delivered the valedictory address; Walter Paskert of Washington spoke as representative for the graduate students.

The Douglas G. and Kathryn D. Lee Servant Leadership Award went to Tyler Kunz of Alliance, Ohio.

Sunday’s ceremony also included the commissioning of Samuel Hamilton of Bowie, Md., who took his oath to become a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
