Mary A. Forgen, 66, of Carmichaels, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026, in the Washington Hospital.
She was born in Waynesburg August 5, 1959, the daughter of the late Daniel Charles and Leona Gallan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lillian (Paulette) Seaman; brothers-in-law, Warren Morris, II and Clinton Forgen; father- in-law, Chester Forgen and mother-in-law, Betty Forgen.
Mary attended Albert Gallatin High School and was employed as a cashier before retiring. She was a lifetime member of Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, Masontown.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Peter J. Forgen, Sr.; her son, Matthew Forgen; stepson, Peter J. Forgen, Jr.; and stepdaughter, Jennifer Forgen; several nieces and nephews; sisters, Sharon Morris, Tracey (Ron) Bruce, Michelle (Ron) Revak, Lynda Gallan; brothers, Mike (Kris) Kelly and Danny Gallan.
Family and friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH, JR. FUNERAL HOME, 7 River Avenue, Masontown, Sunday, April 26, from 2 to 8 p.m., and Monday, April 27, from 9 until the hour of service at 10 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment follows in St. Agnes Cemetery, Masontown.
