Gerard A. Beddick, 75, of Dunbar, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2026. He was born November 18, 1950 in Uniontown, the son of the late Francis and Eleanor Hudock Beddick.

He was the beloved husband of 56 years to Lynette Herrilko Beddick.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons, John (Michelle) Beddick of Edinboro, and Craig (Amy) Beddick of Dunbar; his grandchildren, Emily (Cullen) McKissock, Hunter, Lucas, Bethany and Molly Beddick; his siblings, Mary (Steve) Patchan, Thomas Beddick, Cindy (the late Tony) Digga, Carol (Dan) Meola, Daniel Beddick, Eddie Beddick, Andrew (Marla) Beddick, and Vincent Beddick.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, William and Francis “Joe” Beddick; and an infant sister, Bernadette.

Gerard served for four years in the Marine Corps. during the Vietnam War.

He retired from Anchor Hocking Glass as a mold maker.

He enjoyed baseball games, Pittsburgh sports teams and the West Leisenring Volunteer Fire Department.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, August 6, at 10 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 50 Jefferson Street, Uniontown. Everyone meet at the church. Inurnment to follow at St. Mary (Nativity) Cemetery in Uniontown.

The family would like to thank Amedysis Hospice for the care given to Gerard, especially Brook and Martha and Dr. Paul Hartley.
