Patty Marie Bogol Gaugler
formerly of Uniontown
Patty Marie Bogol Gaugler, 71, of Selinsgrove, entered into rest Wednesday, July 8, 2026, in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born November 21, 1954, in Uniontown, a daughter of the late Stephen and Louise McDade Bogol.
On May 6, 1979, she married Robert Lee Gaugler, who preceded her in death July 22, 2007.
Patty was a 1972 graduate of Brownsville Area Senior High and obtained a bachelor’s degree from Ambassador College.
She was very involved in the community, as a member of the United Church of God in Mexico, Pennsylvania.
She is survived by her sister, Linda Lou Cohen of Steelton; brother, Stephen M. Bogol and wife Cindy of Masontown; four sisters-in-law, Linda Bogol, Mary Willhide, Rose Massie and husband John, and Kathy Charles and husband Tom; and brother- in-law, Bob Zeigler.
In addition to her parents and her beloved husband, Patty was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Ernest; and her sister-in-law, Linda Gaugler Zeigler.
A memorial service will be held with Pastor Bart Bornhorst and Elder John Massie officiating and burial will be private in Susquehanna Mennonite Cemetery, Port Trevorton.
