Charlotte H. Cartwright Smith, 65, of Uniontown, formerly of Point Marion, died Sunday, July 12, 2026, in her home following a lengthy illness, with her loving family at her side. Born in Uniontown March 16, 1961, she was a daughter of the late Roy L. and Alberta Moore Cartwright.

She attended Albert Gallatin High School, and, until her retirement, was employed in the kitchen of Kasey’s Diner in Uniontown.

Surviving are five loving children: Wanda Wyland-Savage and husband Jeff of Lemont Furnace, with whom she made her home; George Wyland, Jr. and wife Lana of New Salem, Bradley Smith of Oliver, Robert “Charlie” Smith of Coolspring, and Roxanne Smith of Perryopolis; 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Richard Cartwright of Morgantown, Marvin of Point Marion, and Kenneth of New Geneva; and four sisters, Betty Cartwright, Deloris Sines and Eva Boyce, all of Point Marion, and Linda Moore of Smithfield.

In addition to her parents, also deceased is one brother, Albert Cartwright (2024); and sister, Geraldine S. “Pickle” Perry (2025).

The family will hold a private memorial at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion.
