Ellen Sue Frame Messenger, 74, of Uniontown, passed away in her home, with her loving family by her side and went to be with her Lord Jesus Wednesday, July 15, 2026.
She was born January 17, 1952, in Uniontown.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Richard “Dick” and Viola Lewis Frame; in-laws, Milo T. and Barbara R. Ringer Messenger; her daughter, Linette J. Messinger; grandson, Jack Reed.
Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Frederick A. Messenger; her daughter, Tessa Reed and husband Keith Reed; granddaughter, Amanda Reed; siblings, April Baughman and husband James “Alan” Baughman, and Richard A. “Butch” Frame; and several nieces and nephews.
Ellen was a member of Faith Assembly of God in Uniontown. She loved to oil and acrylic paint, helping others, fellowshipping with her church family, praising her Lord, taking care of her husband, and loving her grandchildren.
The family will receive friends and family in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Tuesday, July 21, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and Wednesday, July 22, from 10 to 11:00 a.m., when a funeral service will begin, with Pastor Jason Lamer and Pastor Carl Desmartin officiating.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
