Jack H. Rosenberger, 87, of Markleysburg, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2026, in Lytle’s Personal Care Home.
He was born September 12, 1938 in Markleysburg, the son of the late Samuel H. and Betty J. Myers Rosenberger.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Mary L. Rosenberger; infant daughter, Sherry Louise Rosenberger; and his sister, Brenda Joyce Otto.
Jack is survived by his loving children, Dona J. Show (Randolph) of Markleysburg, Jack A. Rosenberger of Markleysburg, Jodie M. Lewis (Jerry Rotruck) of Morgantown, W.Va., and Wendy Jo Metheny (Chad) of Kingwood, W.Va.; along with seven grandchildren, Paul (Gwen), Justin (Katie), Kyle (Savannah), Tyler (Emily), Bailey, Hannah (Brady), and Camdyn; great-grandchildren, Colton, Sadie, Zoe, Audrey, and Reese; and his beloved dog, Peanut.
He was a member of Markleysburg Union Church and the owner of Jack’s Auto Sales, Markleysburg.
He was a proud veteran serving in the U.S. Navy.
The family would like to thank Julianne Glover for being such a good friend and Lytle’s Personal Care Home and ViaQuest Hospice for their excellent care of Jack.
Arrangements are under the direction of the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Farmington. A private graveside service and interment will be held in Thomas Cemetery.
