Margaret Julian Turner, of Masontown, passed away peacefully Friday, June 12, 2026, surrounded by family.

She was born in Mt. Pleasant July 14, 1924, the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Novesl.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, Dominick Julian and Claude Turner; her son, Stephen Julian; and her seven siblings. She was the last living member of her immediate family.

Margaret was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great- grandmother.

She was a local florist designer who loved traveling, baking and gambling, but most of all being surrounded by her family.

Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Janet Julian, and Kathy Morris and husband Jim; along with seven grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church Our Lady of Perpetual Help Leckrone Parish; Rosary Society, and VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Masontown.

Family and friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH, JR. FUNERAL HOME, Masontown, Sunday, June 14, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and Monday, June 15, from 9 to 9:30 a.m., when Prayers of Transfer will be offered followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Masontown. Interment follows in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Leckrone.
