Doris Ann Hager Means, 86, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 8, 2026, at WVU Uniontown Hospital.

She was born on October 25, 1939, in Farmington, daughter of the late Robert and Neva Bryner Hager.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Grady Means, in 2014; and her brothers: Bobby Hager, Wayne Hager and Bert Hager.

She is survived by her loving children, Mary Ann Means of Uniontown and Charles G. Means (Michele) of Lake Lynn; grandchildren, Aaron Means and Kayle Wilson; great-grandchildren: Skyler, Alex, Wyatt, Elaina, Eli, Cohen and Grayson; and brothers, Larry Hager of Farmington and Stanley Hager of Arizona.

Doris was a devoted member of Uniontown Church of the Brethren, where she served in charge of the Cradle Roll and was active in the Women’s Fellowship and the Church Flowers Committee. She was also a member of the 3rd Presbyterian Sewing Group.

She worked for Cleaning Quality Service for many years prior to her retirement.

Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 12. Additional visitation will be held from 10 until the hour of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, with Pastor Bob Stein officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery.
