Kathleen M. “Kathy” Puzak, 73, of Uniontown, passed away in the early morning hours of Thursday, May 7, 2026, called home by our Lord.

Early in her adult life, Kathy worked as a nursing assistant, an office administrator and later as a teacher at a private Christian school.

For over 35 years Kathy cared for her mother, being her constant friend, shopping companion, helper, cook and lunch partner with friends at various restaurants. Kathy also tended to an aunt and several uncles during their senior years, and worked tirelessly to ensure their needs were well met.

She was strong in her faith and equally as studious through her 40-year association with the Bread of Life Church. Over the years Kathy quietly participated in various Christian educational and evangelical events to such an extent that she was awarded an Honorary Bachelor’s degree from Mercy University.

Those who knew Kathy best also knew that they could turn to her for kind words and a listening ear during life’s toughest moments.

She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Puzak of Uniontown; several aunts; uncles; cousins; and friends.

Kathy is survived by her mother, Helen M. Puzak of Uniontown; brother, David Puzak and wife, Debra; a sister Carol Lewis; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
