Are the Southern border states our problem concerning illegal immigrants?
Our country has always had open arms for immigrants that are searching for a better life and I hope we never forget our christian values in defending this. This is one reason why people support open borders. Another possible reason is because they are not faced with the crisis that border states deal with on a daily basis. They feel safe because they live in the safety zone.
Let’s take a hypothetical situation and see if our feelings would change. Lets say that we make a geographical move, we take our local communities and place them at the southern border.
Now when we wake up we are confronted with 100 to 1,000 immigrants entering our community almost every day. They start camping on our streets and highways. Very soon these areas become unlivable because of trash and waste.
They go from one community to the next and the results are the same. We who were born and have lived here all our lives don’t want to move and some of us cannot afford to move. What about our elderly, they can’t leave? So we are forced to stay.
The crime rate starts getting out of control. Major crimes such as murder, rape, assaults, theft and property damage. People we know start getting murdered, local police officers are getting killed, our daughters and wives are getting assaulted, raped and even murdered. Then a member of our family or friends become “Angel Mom’s”.
We don’t forget our christian values but we are now faced with a serious crisis that directly threatens our family and communities. We pray to God for help and we hope that our government and it’s people will take the necessary steps to protect us.
It is something, when we put our self in somebody else’s shoes and these tragic events come to our door step. We begin to see things differently and we begin to understand what these Americans are going through.
The southern border states are American citizens and they deserve our support and protection before the illegal immigrants.
There is a national emergency at our southern borders and it is getting worse everyday. We better wake up and start realizing that this crisis is spreading like a cancer into other states across the United States. If we don’t, we won’t have a safety zone. (There is a sanctuary city that is harboring illegal immigrants that is our neighbor.)
Stop all immigrants from entering our ports and borders for a period of six months to a year. During that time, build the wall, hire necessary border patrol and other security devices to provide the best safety for our citizens at the borders.
Then implement a whole new immigration program that would properly screen all immigrants and only let those people who want to contribute to the well being of our country go through the process to become a citizen while living in America. This will filter out the freeloaders, drugs and criminals. Get something started and then make changes and adjustments that will improve this program.
The President suggested this when he first entered office.
Just think how much time has been wasted because of personal hatred and revenge towards one man. Our country is called United States of America and that means all states and “citizens” deserve our protection and support.
God is hoping that we come together and take care of our own first, because he knows what the outcome will be if we don’t.
