Leftist-progressives are the racists

By John Lucas 5 min read

“From my own part: I have never had a thought which I could not set down in words, with even more distinctness than that which I’ve conceived it…”  -Edgar Allen Poe.

If that description was good enough for Edgar Allen Poe, it’s certainly good enough for me. It’s also true, from my own part, that I do this for “Schitz and Giggles,” but that’s not the only reason that I do it. I also do it, because I can.

The Ãå±±½ûµØ has an obvious progressive slant, playing to the leftist intelligentsia (a non-sequitur), but there is a degree of open-mindedness to the newspaper that I appreciate.

Granted, they might not agree with me (and I assure you the feelings are mutual), but at least they give you this opportunity to decide for yourself. That’s a pretty big deal. Now if I could only talk them into 25 cents per word, then I’d really “mean business.”

My trip is to write about the things no one else dares to without shrouding it in chicanery.

Mediocrity is for those other guys. They “play it safe” with ambiguity and will be remembered for nothing. Maybe that’s good enough for them, “but it ain’t good enough for me.” I write what needs written.

Let’s talk about a phenomenon that plagues contemporary society and everyone of us sees it. Of course I’m referring to one-sided political correctness. That “Beast” even slithered close to home at this year’s Fayette County Fair.

Someone, on a quest to achieve victimhood, was offended because someone else has a sense of humor. She made an issue about a benign dartboard at the Fayette County Republican Party: exhibit, booth, table or whatever you want to call it.

She contacted the Ãå±±½ûµØ, then probably: MSNBC, CNN, and God only knows?

However, she didn’t get her fifteen minutes of fame, or even a three minute segment with Rachel Maddow or Don Lemon.

She did start a “Stuff” storm locally and managed to get a bunch of status quo “Reagan Republicans” to distance themselves from the Fayette County Republican Party. They: grovel, disavow and even apologize for something that they didn’t do. I wonder if I’m ever late with my mortgage payment, I can get them to apologize for me (and pay any late fees)?

Don’t these guys “get it?” The obvious reason Fayette County is “red,” yet the majority of those locally elected are Democrats is that status quo Republicans kind of suck. Maybe they ought to “grow a set,” get with the program and stop “rolling over” every time someone attacks them. There aren’t enough: doctors, dentists and ePAs In the county to win elections.

Then the “R-word (racist)” got thrown into the mix, because pictures of “The Squad:” Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Talib, Jlham Omar and Ayanna Pressley, were put on that dartboard and they’re all women of color?

Isn’t that irrelevant? What is relevant is they’re all wrong! Talib, in public statements, called the President of the United States a “Mother-efer.” Omar, when talking about America’s most serious attack by terrorists, minimized it by saying: “some people did something.” The other two seem to only open their mouths to change feet, promoting some “Green New Deal” when we’ve finally became energy independent.

America is finally off its knees to OPEC and firmly standing on our own feet. These new members of congress want to knock us back down? Don’t you wonder where their loyalties lie?

In their quest for political correctness, leftist-progressives have issued a license to themselves. They label all white Americans who disagree with them with the over and misused: “Rword.” They’ve even segregated who can disagree with them to other people of color. That’s unlikely, because they insist: black Americans have to think “black,” brown Americans have to think “brown,” female Americans have to think “female” and gay Americans have to think “gay.” Leftist-progressives elitists have determined what that “thinking” should be.

Isn’t that racist and bigoted? They ostracize: blacks, browns, females and gays, for daring to think pragmatically and conservative. They’ve even labeled the queen of white leftist progressives (Nancy Pelosi) with the “R-word.”

They keep screaming about a fringe and minute white supremacy movement, while promoting the supremacy of segregated identity politics! They keep saying President Trump and the Republicans are creating the divisions in our country, but they got it backwards

They’re so “thin-skinned” that they get offended by a sardonic joke at the county fair, yet harass and threaten conservatives at their homes, in restaurants and according to “her wig’s too tight” Maxine Waters, at gas stations. What’s these “Green New Dealers” doing at gas stations anyway? They ought to be at Lowes buying miles and miles of electrical extension cords.

This is the democracy promoted by the “new” Socialist-Democrat Party. Oh, you’re given a choice, but there’s one choice to choose from. “It’s their way or the highway. “How’d that work out for: the Soviet Union, Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua, China, Hong Kong, North Korea, Soviet Block Eastern Europe and every other suicidal country? Let me give you a hint: “It didn’t.”
