Now that the Schifft show has ended, column after column in the fair and balanced media have proclaimed that witness after witness testified of collusion, bribery, even treason by the President! These columnists must have watched a different inquiry?
The boring show I watched paraded witness after witness with damming testimony of “I heard”, “someone told me”, “I presumed”, “we were all on the same page.” In a court of law, these witnesses would have been dismissed. Hearsay evidence is not evidence. Your presumptions, how you felt about it, what you heard, what someone told you is not evidence!
When the Republican side was allowed to cross examine each witness was asked at some point if they had any first hand knowledge of the President engaging in any of the things he is being accused of. Each time the answer was No! The EU ambassador ended with, as in my testimony, I presumed this was the intent of the President. When you spoke to him directly, what did he say to you he wanted? The ambassador said the President said he wanted nothing, he wanted President Zalinsky to do the right thing.
It has now been over three years the Left has been on a relentless quest to destroy the President. For two years the same players proclaimed the Muller report would sink the Presidency. Shifty Schifft announced the president would be indited while he was in office. Month after month the anticipation of the Left was like a little kid waiting for his first Bicycle to show up under the Christmas Tree. Then “boom,” the whole thing fell apart. As hard as they tried to glean something out of it, it just died a slow death. Then out of nowhere a whistleblower comes forward with information he heard from someone else that the president withheld aid to the get an investigation on a political opponent. Whoopee! They were off a running again! Forget the Muller report we have something better here.
The issue here is the President supposedly withheld aid for defensively weaponry to Ukraine. Prior to President Trump they got none of that aide! It was ok however in the previous administration to withhold aid unless the Ukraine attorney General was fired. Ukraine is one of most corrupt countries in the World. There is so much gaffe and corruption they make the Drug Cartels look like amateurs. Whether the Left wants to admit it or not this something for something happens all the time. After is was determined nations we gave a lot of financial aid to consistently voted against us in the UN we stopped the aid. Your on our side or no aid. Something for Something.
It was clear the day the President was elected they would try to impeach him. Senators and Representatives proclaimed his destiny for over three years now. The left controls the House and they can impeach him with just their votes. So do it! Let’s bring this show to the Senate for a fair trial, where both sides can call witnesses. Let’s get to the bottom of a lot of things like all the profiteering by certain people in the prior administration from the Ukrainian Oil and Gas industry. Let’s open the doors to a real trial and not a Tribunal by Comrade Shifft and his proletariat.
