President Trump’s ‘heartfelt’ words meaningless
One wonders if the president ever sees the irony and foolishness in some of his stunningly contradictory statements. Case in point is his 2019 Christmas message, in which he and the First Lady “wish each and every American a very merry Christmas” assert that “we should rejoice in Jesus’ love for every person”, and say that, “Together, we must strive to foster a culture of deeper understanding and respect…”
Do the president’s “heartfelt good wishes” include “Crazy” Nancy Pelosi, “Crazy Bernie” Sanders, “Sleepy” Joe Biden”, “Sick maniac” U. S. Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, Horseface, “Pocahontas” Elizabeth Warren, “Pompous Ass” Mitt Romney, those from “s–hole” countries, the “enemies of the people” media, and those innocent children and infants he has separated from their parents at the border with Mexico?
It would be lovely if your words rang true, Mr. President, if you understood and modeled what Christianity and other honorable faiths represent.
You can recite all the beautiful words of reconciliation and love that you wish, but they shall be meaningless so long as you bring us hatred and intolerance throughout the year, including during this holy season. Jesus weeps.
