LETTER: Help with prescription drug costs
Regarding the Feb. 20 story about the woman who couldn’t afford her prescription: Some pharmaceutical companies provide free medication for people who cannot afford them. Look on the manufacturer’ websites for patient assistance programs. The paperwork can be a bit of work, but I’m sure the doctor’s staff will be glad to help.
