Wise scores 27 in Lady Pioneers’ 67-25 win

Jersey Wise hit five 3-pointers Thursday night as the West Greene girls opened Section 2-A play with a 67-25 victory over visiting Monessen.

Wise scored a game-high 27 points. Anna Durbin added 16.

The Lady Pioneers (1-0, 5-0) led 22-2 after the first quarter and 47-7 at halftime.

Qitarah Hardison scored nine points for the Lady Greyhounds (0-1, 3-2).
