Recently, we featured Ring of Honor wrestler Shane Taylor in this column.

An Ohio native, Taylor moved to Pittsburgh and began making a name for himself before moving to Texas.

He eventually signed with ROH and Thursday night in Toronto, Taylor made history as he won the ROH TV title.

Taylor pinned TV champ Jeff Cobb in a four-way match that also included Brody King and Hirooki Goto.

Kudos are in order for Shane and I shared as much with him via text Friday.

He has been moving up the ROH ladder and hopefully this is a step in the right direction in a major way for him.

Trust me, the future is very, very bright for Shane!

AEW has TV deal?

On Thursday, word broke that All Elite Wrestling may have a TV deal in place with Turner Network Television (TNT).

The Wrap is reporting that the deal is 鈥渧irtually done鈥 with the show being a weekly gig.

AEW wrestlers are expected to be at Madison Square Garden Wednesday for the announcement.

Word is the deal will be announced around 9 a.m.

Double Or Nothing on PPV?

Several readers have emailed asking if the next AEW show, 鈥淒ouble Or Nothing,鈥 will be on PPV.

It will be although the company still has not announced specific details.

There is also a report out there that Bleacher Report would show it, but the event will indeed be on PPV.

Money in the Bank one week away

Next Sunday, WWE presents Money in the Bank.

Seth Rollins defends the Universal title against AJ Styles in what should be a stellar bout.

Kofi Kingston will put the WWE title on the line against Kevin Owens in his first PPV title defense.

Becky Lynch will pull double duty as she will defend the Raw title against Lacey Evans and then she will put the Smackdown title on the line against Charlotte Flair.

Will WWE pull the trigger and have her lose on of the belts already?

If so, look for her to retain in the first match but lose in the second.

The men鈥檚 Money in the Bank match features Braun Strowman, Ricochet, Andrade, Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin Ali, Finn Balor and Randy Orton while the women鈥檚 bout features Carmella, Ember Moon, Natalya, Dana Brooke, Naomi, Alexa Bliss, Bayley and Mandy Rose.

Other matches include Samoa Joe defending the U.S. title against Rey Mysterio, Roman Reigns taking on Elias and The Miz facing Shane McMahon in a steel cage match.

Money in the Bank is available on the WWE Network and on PPV.

WWE Network changes

Speaking on the WWE Network, the company emailed fans Friday saying that the network will no longer be available on several devices come May 21 as manufacturers have stopped updating the operating system of older products and it could impact the ability to stream high-quality video via the digital subscription service.

Among the devices that the network will not be available on are Amazon Fire tablets, Apple TV (3rd generation and earlier models), LG-2016 (and earlier models), Playstation 3, Sony (non-android TVs), Samsung (2016 and earlier models), Samsung and Sony Blu-ray players, Windows 10 desktop and Xbox 360.
