Trinity hands visiting Lady Leopards 63-38 loss
The Trinity girls outscored visiting Belle Vernon in the middle two quarters, 25-14, Saturday afternoon for a 63-38 non-section home victory.
The Lady Hillers (2-4) put the game away with a 26-13 advantage in the fourth quarter.
Jenna Dawson led the Lady Leopards (2-4) with 11 points. Farrah Reeder finished with 10 points and five rebounds. Tessa Rodriguez contributed seven rebounds and seven assists.
Eden Williamson (15), Macie Justice (14), and Madelin Roberts (10) all scored double figures for Trinity.
Union 58, Monessen 29 — Kelly Cleaver led the way for the Lady Scots with a game-high 23 points for a non-section victory over the visiting Lady Greyhounds.
Union (2-2) led 17-3, 37-11 and 55-14 at the quarter breaks.
Union’s Zoe Lepri added 10 points. Na’Jaziah Carter paced Monessen (2-2) with 13 points.
