Connellsville鈥檚 Shearer earns sportsmanship award

Connellsville鈥檚 Kace Shearer received the Annual Paul Lancaster 缅北禁地manship Award prior to Saturday鈥檚 game against Blackhawk in the American Senior Legion Baseball Region 6 Tournament at John DiVirgilio 缅北禁地 Complex in Rostraver Township. The award is named in memory of Lancaster, who was a longtime umpire and staple in the community. He died in 2021. Shearer accepted the award from umpire Joe Volpe.
