Southwestern Pennsylvania Water Authority will have the water shut off in the Greene County town of Brave between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday for the following areas to upgrade the system: Monday: Chestnut, Walnut, Locust and Freedom streets; Tuesday: All of Brave; Wednesday: Maple, Lantz and Elks alley, and Tom's Run from Maple Alley to State Line Campground; Thursday: Tom's Run, State Line Campground to Maple Alley and Woodland. Customers may experience low pressure or now water and are advised to keep containers of water to minimize the outage.
The Fayette County Disaster Relief Fund Board is calling on the community to support local families whose homes and lives have been impacted by the recent severe storms. Many residents are facing significant property damage, unexpected expenses, and the difficult task of rebuilding after recent storms and flooding.
